CRW (Canon RAW) is Canon's original proprietary RAW format, used in Canon EOS cameras from approximately 1998 to 2004 (before CR2 replaced it). CRW files use Canon's CIFF (Camera Image File Format) container and store 10–12-bit raw sensor data.
